Our Story
A kitchen built on
the rhythms of the land
Nestled along Mansel Street in the heart of Carmarthen, The Warren began as a simple idea: to cook honestly, using what the season provides, and to share that food with people who care about where their meals come from. It was never meant to be a restaurant in the conventional sense. It was meant to be a table you wanted to sit at.
Over the years, that idea grew into something rare. A place where neighbours become friends over slow-cooked lamb, where the menu changes with the weather, and where the wine is poured generously because that is how hospitality should feel. The Warren is not about fine dining. It is about real dining, with real ingredients from real farms scattered across Carmarthenshire.
The name itself tells you everything. A warren is a network, a community, a place of shelter. Ours happens to have a wood-fired oven and the best sourdough in West Wales.
