Three Little Pigs began with a simple idea: that the objects we surround ourselves with should bring genuine joy.
Nestled in the heart of Cardigan, we have been curating a warm and considered collection of homeware since 2011. You will find furniture built to last, lighting that sets a mood, kitchenware that makes cooking a pleasure, and gifts you will be proud to give.
We travel to makers' studios, visit small producers, and seek out the artisans who pour real care into their craft. Every piece on our shelves has been chosen because we would happily live with it ourselves.
Whether you know exactly what you are looking for or are simply wandering in to see what catches your eye, you are always welcome here.

We are not a chain. We are a shop with a point of view, run by people who love what they sell.
Every penny you spend here stays in the community. We are proudly locally owned and have been part of Cardigan for over a decade.
We visit makers in their studios, ask questions about materials, and only stock pieces we would be proud to display in our own homes.
We prioritise makers who use natural, recycled, or low-impact materials. Our packaging is plastic-free and we offset our shipping carbon.
No pushy sales. Just knowledgeable, friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and plenty of time to browse at your own pace.
We receive new pieces every week. Here is a look at what has just landed on our shelves and online.
See All New ArrivalsWe stock over a hundred independent makers, many of them based right here in Wales and the wider British Isles.
We believe that knowing who made something — and how, and where — makes it infinitely more precious. That is why we visit studios, talk to potters, and share the stories behind every piece we stock.
Wheel-thrown stoneware made in a converted barn outside Newport, using locally dug clay and wood-ash glazes.
A working woollen mill weaving heritage blankets and throws since 1912, just fifteen miles from our shop.
Small-batch soy candles hand-poured in a harbourside studio, fragranced with coastal botanicals.
Two-generation furniture makers working from reclaimed Welsh timber in a workshop just around the corner.
Longer days call for lighter interiors. Our spring edit brings together pale linens, hand-thrown ceramics, fresh botanicals and natural textures that celebrate the season without shouting about it.
We are grateful for every kind word. Here are a few from people who have shopped with us.
“An absolute treasure of a shop. I could spend hours in there and always leave with something I didn’t know I needed. The staff are so warm and knowledgeable.”
“Bought a beautiful Melin Tregwynt throw as a wedding gift. The shop wrapped it beautifully without even being asked. That kind of attention to detail is rare.”
“I drove from Bristol specifically to visit and it was completely worth it. The curation is exceptional — everything feels considered and special.”
“Ordered online and was blown away by the packaging. Not a scrap of plastic in sight and the item arrived in perfect condition. I’ll definitely be ordering again.”
“The Trefach Pottery bowls I bought are simply stunning. Every single one is slightly different. It’s lovely knowing I’ve supported a small Welsh studio.”
“If you are visiting Cardigan, this shop is a must. It has the feeling of a home rather than a shop — you just want to stay and take it all in.”
Not sure what to choose? A Three Little Pigs gift card lets someone special browse the entire collection and find exactly what speaks to them. Available in-store and online, valid for two years.

Interiors
A few simple principles — odd numbers, varying heights, a dash of greenery — can transform any set of shelves from storage into a focal point.
Maker Profile
We spent a morning at Gethin and Anna’s studio, learning how they source clay and why each bowl takes a full week to make.
Lifestyle
Fast homeware is the fast fashion of interiors. Here is how to build a home full of things you will still love in twenty years.
We are right in the heart of town, a short walk from the castle and the river. There is usually parking nearby on Grosvenor Hill and along Priory Street.
