Our Story
A Family Legacy,
Served with Warmth
The Rana's Kitchen was born from a simple truth: the finest food
is made with memory. Our founder, raised in the hill villages of
western Nepal, carried the family's recipes across continents,
eventually settling in Aberystwyth — and bringing those
Himalayan flavours to the shores of Cardigan Bay.
Gurkha soldiers have long been celebrated for their honour,
their courage, and — less famously but no less importantly —
their extraordinary cuisine. We are proud to share that
heritage with West Wales, one momo at a time.
Every ingredient is sourced with care. Every spice blend is
prepared in-house. Every dish honours the grandmother who first
taught us that food is the language families speak when words
are not enough.
