A sanctuary for body and mind on the Pembrokeshire coast. Small, nurturing classes in hatha, vinyasa, yin, restorative and prenatal yoga. All levels welcome — from your very first breath to your thousandth.
Nestled in the walled town of Tenby, just moments from the harbour and the silver arc of South Beach, our studio is a warm and welcoming refuge from the everyday.
We believe yoga is for every body — not just the flexible, the young, or the experienced. Whether you have never set foot on a mat or have maintained a daily practice for years, you will find a class here that meets you exactly where you are.
From the dynamic energy of vinyasa to the deep stillness of restorative practice, every class is thoughtfully designed and expertly led.
The foundation of all yoga styles, hatha practice focuses on holding postures mindfully, building strength, flexibility and body awareness at a calm and measured pace. Perfect for those new to yoga or anyone seeking a grounded, classical approach.
Movement and breath woven together in a continuous, flowing sequence. Vinyasa builds warmth, cardiovascular fitness and concentration as postures transition seamlessly into one another. Creative sequencing ensures no two classes are ever the same.
Long-held, passive postures targeting the deep connective tissues — fascia, ligaments and joints. Yin yoga cultivates stillness, patience and a profound meditative quality. Ideal for those under stress or seeking balance to an active lifestyle.
Complete supported rest using bolsters, blankets and props so that the body can release tension without effort. Restorative yoga activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting deep healing and recovery. Particularly beneficial for fatigue, anxiety and injury.
Specially designed for every stage of pregnancy, prenatal yoga supports the changing body, eases common discomforts and prepares both body and mind for birth. A nurturing, safe space to connect with other expectant mothers and with the growing life within you.
Seated and guided meditation sessions combined with pranayama — the ancient science of breath. Learn to quiet the mind, regulate the nervous system and develop a sustainable daily practice. Powerful tools for mental clarity, emotional balance and lasting wellbeing.
Classes run Monday through Saturday. All times are GMT. Please arrive five minutes early so you can settle in before the session begins.
Sarah discovered yoga during a difficult period in her life and was transformed by its quiet power. What began as a search for stress relief became a calling. She trained extensively in India and the UK, completing over 500 hours of registered teacher training across hatha, vinyasa, yin and restorative disciplines, as well as a specialist prenatal yoga certification.
Having taught across Wales, London and abroad, Sarah returned to her home county of Pembrokeshire to open Tenby Yoga Studio — a space she wished had existed when she needed it most. Her teaching is warm, precise and deeply human. She has a gift for making students feel seen, safe and capable of more than they imagined.
When not on the mat, Sarah can usually be found walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, wild swimming or reading everything she can find about the nervous system and the philosophy of yoga.

Immersive experiences that take your practice deeper. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Pembrokeshire coast.
A two-day immersion held each season at a lovingly chosen venue on the Pembrokeshire coast. This retreat is a genuine invitation to stop — to rest more deeply than you have perhaps allowed yourself in years. The programme combines restorative yoga, guided meditation, pranayama, nourishing plant-based meals and generous periods of unstructured time.
Small groups of eight participants maximum ensure an intimate, personal experience. Accommodation options include on-site glamping and local bed and breakfasts, with full details provided on booking.
Held on the first Sunday of each month, these three-hour workshops focus on a single theme explored in depth — from anatomy and alignment in specific postures, to the philosophy of the yoga sutras, to advanced pranayama techniques, to the art of building a home practice.
Workshops are suitable for students with at least three months of regular practice. They are designed to illuminate the subtler dimensions of yoga that are difficult to address in a regular class and send you away with practical tools to enrich your daily practice.
New to yoga and not quite sure where to begin? This six-week course is designed specifically for complete beginners. Each week builds gently on the last, introducing fundamental postures, breathing techniques and the key principles of safe practice. By the end, you will feel genuinely confident stepping into any of our regular classes.
Groups of no more than eight mean Sarah can give you the time and guidance your early practice deserves. No previous experience, flexibility or fitness level required — only curiosity.
For students who want a practice truly tailored to their individual needs — whether recovering from injury, managing a health condition, deepening an existing practice, or simply preferring the privacy of individual attention. Private sessions with Sarah move at your pace and focus on exactly what matters most to you.
Sessions can be held at the studio or, where appropriate, at your home or holiday accommodation if you are visiting Pembrokeshire. Packages of four or eight sessions offer the best value and create the continuity needed for real progress.
I came to Sarah's studio as an absolute beginner, convinced I was too stiff and too old to do yoga. That was eighteen months ago. I now attend three classes a week and my back pain, which had plagued me for a decade, has all but gone. Sarah's patience and knowledge are extraordinary.
The prenatal classes were a genuine lifeline during my pregnancy. Sarah created such a safe, supportive atmosphere. I felt understood and cared for throughout. I'd recommend this studio to any expectant mother in Pembrokeshire without hesitation.
I've practised yoga for ten years and have attended studios across the UK. Tenby Yoga Studio is genuinely one of the finest I have ever visited. The teaching quality is exceptional, the space is beautiful, and the small class sizes mean you actually progress.
We visited Tenby on holiday and I booked a drop-in class on a whim. It was the highlight of our week. The restorative session left me more rested than I'd felt in months. We've already planned next year's holiday around getting back to this studio.
The coastal retreat was one of the most transformative weekends of my life. I arrived exhausted and frazzled. I left feeling like myself again. Sarah's ability to hold a space of genuine rest and healing is a rare and beautiful gift.
I started the six-week beginners course with absolutely no idea what I was doing. Sarah made every session feel achievable. She explained the 'why' behind everything, which made it all feel purposeful rather than just a workout. I'm now a regular at the yin class and I absolutely love it.
No hidden fees, no long-term contracts. Choose the option that suits your practice and your life.
Everything you need to know before stepping through the door for the first time.
Absolutely. In fact, welcoming beginners is one of the things we take most seriously at this studio. Our hatha classes and six-week foundation course are specifically designed with the complete newcomer in mind. Sarah never assumes prior knowledge and always explains the purpose behind each posture and technique. You are encouraged to ask questions, take rest whenever you need to, and move entirely within your own range. There is nothing to be anxious about — everyone in the room was a beginner once.
No. The studio provides everything you need — high-quality mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets and cotton straps. You are of course welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer. The one thing we ask you to bring is a small hand towel and a water bottle, though filtered water is available at the studio if you forget.
Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely — leggings, loose trousers, a fitted top or a looser layer depending on the class. Yoga is practised barefoot, so no specialist footwear is required. For restorative and yin classes, consider bringing warm socks and a comfortable extra layer as the body cools significantly when held in passive postures for extended periods.
We ask all students to arrive five minutes before the class begins. This allows time to remove your shoes, collect any props, settle onto your mat and let the outside world go. Arriving late can disturb the atmosphere for other students and means you miss the opening grounding practice, which sets the tone for everything that follows. If you are coming for the first time, arriving ten minutes early gives Sarah a chance to say hello and answer any questions.
In most cases, yes — and yoga is often actively beneficial for a wide range of conditions. Please contact us before booking to have a brief conversation about your specific situation. Sarah will advise honestly on which classes are most suitable and any modifications or precautions to be aware of. For more complex conditions, a private one-to-one session may be a better starting point than a group class. Your safety and comfort always come first.
We ask for at least 12 hours notice if you need to cancel a booked class, so we can offer your place to someone on the waiting list. Drop-in payments are non-refundable but can be transferred to another class within the same week. Class pass credits are returned in the case of cancellations made within the 12-hour window for genuine emergencies — we take these situations on a case-by-case basis with compassion. Membership payments are not refundable for unused months, but membership can be paused for up to one month per calendar year.
Yes. Sarah is a certified prenatal yoga instructor with specialist training in supporting all stages of pregnancy. Classes are adapted and modified continuously throughout the three trimesters. We do ask that you wait until after your 12-week scan and first midwife appointment before attending, and that you inform your midwife or GP that you are taking up yoga. Please always let Sarah know your current week of pregnancy at the start of each class.
Tenby has several car parks within easy walking distance of the studio, including the Upper Park Road car park (approximately three minutes on foot) and the Salterns car park near the seafront. The town centre is also well served by buses from Pembroke, Pembroke Dock, Kilgetty and Saundersfoot. Bicycle parking is available directly outside the studio entrance.
We do. Gift vouchers are available in any denomination and are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase. They can be used against any class, class pass, membership, workshop or private session. Vouchers can be ordered by email or telephone and are delivered digitally or by post as you prefer. They make a genuinely thoughtful gift.
We would love to hear from you. Whether you are ready to book or simply want to know more, do get in touch.
