When we first laid eyes on this field, with its gentle slopes and natural pond that gives us our name, we knew we'd found something special. The vision was simple: create a place where families could experience the magic of camping without sacrificing comfort, where the sounds of nature replace the noise of everyday life, and where memories are made under some of the darkest, most star-filled skies in Wales.

Morning at Pond Field begins with the gentle sounds of nature waking up. You might hear the splash of ducks landing on our namesake pond or the distant lowing of cattle in the neighboring fields. Step out onto your private deck with a cup of tea (Welsh Brew, naturally) and watch the mist lift from the valleys as the sun climbs higher.

Days can be as active or as relaxed as you choose. Many guests love to explore the extensive network of coastal paths that make Pembrokeshire famous among hikers and nature lovers. Others prefer to spend their time reading in the peaceful surroundings, perhaps in one of the hammocks we've strung between the ancient oak trees that dot the property.

Evenings are particularly magical. As one of the darkest locations in this part of Wales, Pond Field offers spectacular stargazing opportunities. We provide star charts and can often point out the Milky Way on clear nights. The fire pits outside each pod become gathering places for families to share stories, toast marshmallows, and create those perfect holiday memories.

The town's harbour still operates as a working fishing port, and you can often buy fresh catch directly from the boats.

Pembrokeshire's beaches are legendary, and from Pond Field you're within striking distance of some of the finest. Saundersfoot, just ten minutes away, offers a classic seaside experience with its sandy beach, water sports, and seafront restaurants. For something more dramatic, the beaches around St. Bride's Bay provide miles of unspoiled coastline where you might spot seals, dolphins, or even the occasional whale.
