A shop born from a love of wild places

Mundos sits at the meeting point of river and sea in Cardigan, one of Wales's most distinctive market towns. We opened with a simple belief: that the clothes we wear should be made with the same care and respect for the natural world that drives us out into it.

We stock clothing and lifestyle goods that are built to last, made ethically, and designed for the kind of life people in West Wales actually live — close to the coast, close to the hills, and close to each other.

The majority of what we sell is made from organic natural fibres or post-consumer recycled materials. We are working to increase this every season.

Repair, Rewear, Rethink

We offer basic garment repair advice in store and can point you towards local repair services. The most sustainable garment is always one you already own.

Plastic-Free Packaging

All our packaging and bags are compostable or made from recycled materials. We have eliminated single-use plastic from every part of our operation.

Local Giving

A percentage of our annual profit is donated to conservation and community organisations in Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. Because this coastline gives us everything.

Mundos is located in the centre of Cardigan (Aberteifi), one of West Wales's most distinctive and independent towns. We are easy to find, with parking nearby and a warm welcome guaranteed.

If you are visiting the Cardigan Bay coast, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, or the Ceredigion countryside, we hope you will stop in. We love talking about where you have been and what you need next.

Getting here

By car: Cardigan is on the A487, approximately 35 minutes from Aberystwyth and 25 minutes from Fishguard. Free car parking is available at the Quay Car Park, a short walk from the shop.

By bus: TrawsCymru T5 and Arriva Wales services connect Cardigan with Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, and Fishguard. The town centre bus stop is two minutes from the shop.
