"Fabric is the beginning of every beautiful thing you will ever make."
Funkee Moon Fabrics grew out of a passionate belief that making your own clothes, quilts, and homeware should be joyful, accessible, and a little bit extraordinary.
Nestled in Cardigan — one of Wales's most creative small towns — our shop is a vibrant, welcoming space where sewists of every level come to browse, be inspired, and leave with exactly what they need. We stock an ever-changing selection of dressmaking fabrics, quilting cottons, soft furnishing textiles and a comprehensive range of haberdashery.
Every roll on our shelves has been chosen by sewists who actually use it. No fillers, no padding — just fabrics we love and trust.
We run regular classes and workshops because we believe in the power of people making things together. Beginners are especially welcome.
We support local makers, stock Welsh textiles where we can, and are proud to be part of the creative community that makes Cardigan special.
From gossamer-fine silks to robust wools, our ever-changing stock spans the full spectrum of dressmaking and quilting needs. New rolls arrive every week, so there is always something fresh to discover.
