Based between Swansea and Carmarthen, we work with families, couples, and individuals across the whole of South West Wales. Our studio is purpose-built for comfort and creativity, with specialist lighting equipment and a wardrobe of props for newborns, cake smash sessions, and everything in between.
We are fully insured and trained in safe posing for newborns. Every session is unhurried, relaxed, and tailored around your family. We never chase the clock — we wait for your moments.

Newborn sessions start from £245 including specialist posing and heated studio. Cake smash sessions include a bespoke themed setup and coordinated cake. Prices quoted include VAT. A 30% booking deposit secures your date.

Our permanent studio is based in Swansea with easy parking and accessible facilities. Fully equipped for newborn, cake smash, maternity, headshots and family sessions. Climate-controlled and stocked with props and backdrops for every occasion.

We travel throughout South West Wales including Pembrokeshire, Tenby, Narberth and the National Park coastline. Travel within 30 miles of Swansea is included; additional mileage charged at cost.
We recommend booking during pregnancy — ideally between 20 and 30 weeks. Newborn sessions work best in the first 5 to 14 days of life when babies are sleepiest and most flexible. We hold a provisional date for you and confirm once your little one arrives.
Headshot sessions typically take 45 to 60 minutes. Family and portrait sessions run 1 to 2 hours. Newborn sessions are the longest — allow 3 to 4 hours, as we feed, settle, and pose around your baby's schedule. We never rush. Sessions end when we have what we need.
We send every client a full styling guide after booking. As a general rule, neutral tones and coordinating (not matching) colours photograph beautifully. Avoid large logos, bright neons, or very busy patterns. For maternity and newborn sessions we have a full wardrobe available at no extra cost.
This depends on your package. The Essential package includes no images in the session fee — images are purchased individually from £25 each. The Signature package includes 10 fully edited images. The Full Collection includes all edited images from your entire session.
Standard turnaround is two weeks from your session date. Full Collection clients receive priority editing with a one-week turnaround. Images are delivered via a private, password-protected online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints directly.
Please do not bring an unwell child to the studio — particularly for newborn sessions, as we have other tiny clients to protect. Contact us as early as possible and we will rearrange your session with no penalty whatsoever. We understand that children are unpredictable and will always accommodate you.
Yes. A 30% deposit secures your booking with the balance due 48 hours before your session. For Full Collection bookings we offer the option to spread the balance across three monthly instalments at no additional charge.
Absolutely. Once purchased, your images are yours to share, print, and use for personal use however you wish. We only ask that you credit Cherished Moments Photography if sharing publicly online. A print release is included with all packages.
