Our Story

A family legacy of sustainable camping and connection with nature in the Upper Swansea Valleys

Rooted in Heritage, Growing Towards Tomorrow

Established in 1968, Eco Camping Wales has been a cherished family-run retreat for over five decades. Nestled in the breathtaking Upper Swansea Valleys within the Brecon Beacons National Park, our campsite began as a simple vision: to provide authentic outdoor experiences whilst preserving the natural beauty that surrounds us.

Through three generations, we've maintained our commitment to sustainable camping practices, ensuring that future visitors can enjoy the same pristine landscapes that captivated our founders. Our eco-friendly approach isn't just about the environment—it's about creating meaningful connections between people and nature.

Today, we continue to welcome families, adventurers, and Duke of Edinburgh participants, sharing our passion for the outdoors and our deep respect for this remarkable corner of Wales.
