CFK Gym was born out of a simple belief: that everyone deserves access to world-class coaching in a space where they genuinely belong. We opened our doors in Carmarthen in 2018 and have been building one of the most welcoming fitness communities in West Wales ever since.

We are a CrossFit affiliate — which means our programming is rooted in constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity. But beyond the methodology, what makes CFK special is the people. From your first nervous session to your hundredth, you will never train alone here.

Rhys Morgan

Head Coach & Co-Founder

Rhys has been coaching CrossFit since 2015 and founded CFK alongside his wife after years of being part of boxes across South Wales. A passionate programmer and technically gifted weightlifting coach, Rhys leads the gym's strength programming and competition team.

Sarah Thomas

Senior Coach & PT Lead

A former regional CrossFit competitor, Sarah now channels that experience into coaching athletes at every level. She specialises in movement quality, injury prevention, and making first-timers feel immediately at home. She leads CFK's personal training programme.

Dan Howells

Weightlifting & Gymnastics Coach

Dan began as a competitive gymnast before discovering CrossFit in 2016. He now runs CFK's dedicated weightlifting and gymnastics skill sessions, blending the technical discipline of both sports into some of the most popular classes on the timetable.

CrossFit L1 BGF Level 2 BWLA Coach

All coaches hold current first aid certification and undergo continuing professional development.
