Bosherston is one of Pembrokeshire's most enchanting villages, renowned for its spectacular lily ponds and rich natural heritage. This picturesque settlement, with its limestone cottages and narrow lanes, offers visitors a perfect blend of natural beauty and Welsh charm.
The village is world-famous for the Bosherston Lily Ponds, a series of artificial lakes created in the 18th and 19th centuries. These stunning waterways, carpeted with white water lilies from May to September, provide a habitat for diverse wildlife including otters, herons, and numerous waterfowl species.
Just a short walk from the village lies Broad Haven South, a magnificent beach backed by towering limestone cliffs and dramatic sea stacks. The area is part of the Stackpole Estate, managed by the National Trust, offering visitors pristine coastal walks and spectacular views across St Govan's Head to Caldey Island.
