Independent Boutique
Since 2018
Carmarthen, West Wales
Belfoi brings together the finest independent designers and contemporary brands, curated for the woman who knows exactly who she is.
Nestled in the heart of Carmarthen, Belfoi is a sanctuary for the discerning woman. We believe fashion is not about following trends — it is about finding pieces that feel entirely yours. Every garment, every jewel, every accessory in our boutique has been personally selected for its craft, its character, and its capacity to transform the everyday into something extraordinary.
"We do not curate trends. We curate stories — pieces that carry meaning, made by hands that care about the craft."
— Belfoi, Carmarthen

Precision tailoring with a modern feminine edge. Mercer Studio's founder trained under Savile Row craftspeople before launching her eponymous label, bringing that same rigour to womenswear with beautifully clean construction.
View CollectionEdinburgh, Scotland
Heirloom knitwear from the Scottish Highlands. Each Northcliff piece is hand-finished using wool sourced exclusively from farms within a 60-mile radius of the studio, with patterns rooted in traditional coastal craft.
View CollectionBrecon Beacons, Wales
Silk and satin pieces with a romantic, intimate sensibility. Clara Wren designs for moments — from quiet mornings to dressed evenings — with a palette drawn from the soft Welsh landscape that surrounds her studio.
View CollectionCounty Kerry, Ireland
Jewellery of rare restraint and beauty. Aoife Morrin works in sterling silver and 18ct gold, drawing inspiration from Irish mythology and coastal geology to create pieces that feel both ancient and entirely contemporary.
View JewelleryBath, England
Statement accessories and leather goods made in small workshops across the West Country. The Holt Archive's pieces are designed to last decades and improve with age — a conscious rejection of the disposable.
View AccessoriesBags, scarves, belts and more from British makers
From hand-cast silver rings to hand-stitched leather totes, our accessories are selected with the same rigour as our clothing. Every piece earns its place.
Our jewellery selection brings together emerging goldsmiths and established silversmiths from across Britain and Ireland. Each maker is known to us personally, and each piece carries a story you will want to tell.

Belfoi opened its doors in Carmarthen in 2018. Founded by a lifelong lover of independent fashion, the boutique began as a singular vision: to bring the quality and thoughtfulness of a great London boutique to the heart of West Wales, without losing the warmth and community that this town does so well.
The name Belfoi comes from the Welsh for beautiful faith — a faith that good things, made slowly and honestly, are worth seeking out and worth paying for. That philosophy shapes every decision we make, from the designers we approach to the way we dress our windows.
We stock only independent designers and brands. No high street. No fast fashion. No compromises on quality or ethics.
Every piece we sell is chosen partly for its longevity. We believe in buying less, buying better, and wearing it for years.
We are proud to be part of the Carmarthen community. We champion Welsh designers and celebrate everything that makes this corner of Britain special.
I drove up from Swansea specifically to visit Belfoi and I cannot believe I waited so long. The curation is exceptional — every rail feels like it was assembled for exactly the kind of woman I want to be. I left with three pieces and a long list for my next visit.
The staff remembered exactly what I had bought on my last visit and pointed me towards pieces that worked beautifully with them. This is what shopping used to feel like before it became a chore. Absolutely wonderful boutique — Carmarthen should be very proud.
I found my wedding outfit here. Not what I expected to walk in and say, but there it was. A silk blouse and wide-leg trouser from Clara Wren that I will wear for the rest of my life. The team were patient, honest, and genuinely lovely throughout.
