Bailey's Coffee Bar started with a simple frustration: why was it so hard to find a cafe in Carmarthen where you could sit down with your dog without getting disapproving looks? Bailey, the cafe's namesake, deserved better. So we built a place where every dog gets the welcome Bailey always wanted. A bowl of water. A treat. A space to settle. And an owner who can actually relax with a good cup of coffee.
We did not just want to allow dogs. We wanted to celebrate them. Every muddy paw print on the floor is a badge of honour.
Carmarthen is a town of dog lovers. Walk along the Tywi path any morning and you will see dozens of owners with their companions. We wanted to give them all somewhere to go afterwards. Somewhere warm, with good coffee, homemade cakes, and absolutely no judgement about how much mud is on your boots. That is Bailey's. That has always been Bailey's.
