I have been coming to Apricot for years and it never disappoints. The staff are wonderfully helpful — they actually listen to what you want rather than just steering you towards whatever is on the rail. I bought a Marble coat last autumn that I wear almost every day.
I was looking for something to wear to my daughter's wedding and was completely at a loss. I went into Apricot on a whim and came out with a complete outfit — dress, coat, and accessories — that I felt genuinely wonderful in. The ladies in there are just brilliant. Cannot recommend them enough.
As a size 18, I sometimes dread going into boutiques because the selection just is not there. Apricot is completely different. Everything in the shop is available in my size and the advice is genuinely helpful. I drove up from Haverfordwest specially and it was absolutely worth it.

Looking after your investment
Quality clothes deserve careful attention. Here is our general guidance for the fabrics you will find most commonly in our collections.
Printed fabrics — Adini
Adini's signature printed fabrics, often in viscose or cotton blends, should generally be hand-washed or washed on a cool, delicate cycle. Turn garments inside out, use a gentle detergent, and avoid wringing. Lay flat to dry or hang carefully to preserve the drape. Always check the care label on each individual garment.
Knitwear — Marble
Marble knitwear should be hand-washed in cool water with a specialist wool detergent, or dry cleaned if indicated. Never hang knitwear to dry as this causes stretching — instead, reshape and lay flat on a clean towel. Store folded rather than on hangers. A fabric shaver used gently will keep pieces looking fresh season after season.
Outerwear — Junge Coats
Junge Coats are typically dry clean only — please always follow the care label instructions. Between cleans, hang on a broad, shaped hanger to preserve the shoulder line. Brush gently after wear to remove dust and fluff. Store in a breathable garment bag during warmer months. Professional steaming will restore the shape beautifully if needed.

We are easy to reach from Aberystwyth, Fishguard, Newcastle Emlyn, and the Pembrokeshire coast. Free parking is available close to the town centre, and we are a short walk from the main car parks.
