We will have an informal conversation — in person, by phone, or video — to talk through your ideas, preferences, and any questions. This is where we get to know one another.

Based in Llanelli, I travel throughout South and West Wales for weddings, family sessions, and events. My coverage spans from the Gower Peninsula to the Preseli Hills, and from the Beacons to the Ceredigion coast.

Travel within a 45-mile radius of Llanelli is included as standard in all packages. Extended travel is available at a modest mileage supplement, and I am happy to discuss destination sessions across the rest of Wales and beyond.

If you are unsure whether I can travel to your venue, please just ask. I have rarely said no.

My private photography studio in Llanelli is a calm, thoughtfully designed space built for comfortable portrait and family sessions. With professional lighting rigs, a selection of backdrops, and a warm, unhurried atmosphere, it is the ideal environment to produce exceptional imagery.

The studio also serves as the starting point for outdoor sessions — with some of Carmarthenshire and the Gower's finest natural light locations just a short drive away.

Things people often ask

How far in advance should I book?

For weddings, I recommend booking 9–18 months ahead, particularly for popular summer and autumn dates. Portrait and family sessions can typically be arranged within 2–4 weeks. Last-minute availability does occasionally arise, so it is always worth enquiring.

How long until I receive my photographs?

Portrait and family sessions are typically delivered within 2 weeks. Wedding galleries are delivered within 6 weeks of the date. I always aim to exceed these timescales when possible, and rush options are available for events at an additional supplement.

Do you travel outside of Carmarthenshire?

Absolutely. I regularly shoot across Pembrokeshire, Swansea, the Gower, Ceredigion, and further afield. Travel within 45 miles of Llanelli is included. Beyond that, a mileage supplement applies. I am also happy to discuss destination weddings and shoots.

What happens if the weather is poor?

Welsh weather is part of the landscape. Overcast skies often make for the most beautiful, even light. For outdoor sessions, we can reschedule within reason if conditions are genuinely unsuitable. For weddings, I come prepared to work beautifully in any conditions.

Can I print and share my photographs?

Yes. All packages include a full personal print release, meaning you can print your images anywhere you choose, share them freely on social media, and use them for personal purposes. Commercial usage licensing is available separately for business clients.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, for larger packages including weddings. A 25% booking fee secures your date, with the remaining balance due 28 days before your session. For weddings booked a year or more in advance, a staged payment schedule can be arranged. Just ask.

What should I wear to a portrait or family session?

Once booked, I send every client a full styling guide to help with wardrobe choices, colours, and co-ordination. The short answer: wear what makes you feel comfortable and yourself. Avoid large logos and clashing patterns. Neutral and earthy tones photograph beautifully.

Are you insured and fully professional?

Yes. I hold full professional indemnity and public liability insurance. I am happy to supply certificates of insurance to venues on request. I also provide signed contracts for all bookings, giving you full peace of mind from the moment you book.
