The Meadow Room
Our flagship room overlooks the lower pastures where the dairy herd graze each morning. A king-size bed, deep-fill pillows, and a freestanding bath make this a genuinely special retreat.
Luxury dog-friendly accommodation in the heart of Pembrokeshire — where farm-fresh breakfasts, rolling countryside, and warm Welsh hospitality await you and your four-legged companion.
Nestled in the gentle hills near Haverfordwest, Knowles Farm has been a working dairy farm for generations. Today, alongside our herd of dairy cattle, we welcome guests to experience the genuine rhythms of farm life without sacrificing a single luxury.
Our accommodation has been designed with care — proper beds, quality linen, en-suite bathrooms with good water pressure, and windows that frame views of fields rather than car parks. We are proud to hold a 5-star rating from Visit Wales, and prouder still that our guests return year after year.
Dogs are not merely tolerated here — they are genuinely welcomed. We understand that a holiday is not a holiday if your dog cannot come too.
Each room has been individually styled to reflect the character of the farm, with quality furnishings, proper mattresses, and views that remind you exactly where you are.

Converted from the original dairy building, The Dairy Loft retains its exposed stone walls and oak beams whilst housing a thoughtfully appointed double room with a rainfall shower and underfloor heating.
Our largest offering is ideal for families or those travelling with an extra companion — whether human or canine. A generous en-suite bathroom, a sitting area, and access directly to the farm's private garden.
All rooms include a full Welsh farmhouse breakfast, parking, and complimentary use of the farm grounds.
We are dog owners ourselves, which is why we have thought carefully about what actually makes a stay comfortable for both dog and owner — not just a bowl of water in the corner and a hopeful smile.
Breakfast at Knowles Farm is not an afterthought. Our eggs come from our own free-range hens, the bacon is from a heritage-breed producer two miles down the road, and the bread is baked fresh each morning.
We take pride in sourcing every ingredient locally where possible. The sausages are from a Pembrokeshire butcher who has been supplying us for over twelve years. The preserves are made on-site. The milk is, of course, from our own herd.
Breakfast is served between 7:30 am and 9:30 am. Dietary requirements are catered for with pleasure — please inform us at the time of booking.
The best breakfast I have had outside my own kitchen — and honestly, better.

Children and adults alike love collecting the morning eggs from our free-range hens. It is a simple thing that somehow never loses its charm.

We let our guests do the talking. These are genuine reviews from people who have stayed at Knowles Farm.
We travel with two labradors and finding somewhere that genuinely welcomes them — not just tolerates them — is rarer than it should be. Knowles Farm was everything we hoped for. The room was immaculate, the breakfast was honestly the best we have ever had on holiday, and the farm walks were magical first thing in the morning.
Stayed in The Dairy Loft for our anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. The room itself is stunning — exposed stone walls, a beautiful shower, and a view over the fields that we genuinely did not want to leave. The owner was warm and knowledgeable about the area without being intrusive. A very special place.
We have been coming to Pembrokeshire for fifteen years and tried many places. Knowles Farm is the one we keep coming back to. The combination of genuine farm character, beautiful rooms, and that breakfast is unbeatable. Our spaniel Bramble is also very much in favour — the welcome treats were immediately consumed.
